Scott-Felder attended Spelman College where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in fine art with a minor in art education. She began a body of work featuring life-sized charcoal drawings while completing her bachelors degree. These works have since been featured in the Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery and the Spruill Art Gallery.

Scott-Felder completed her Master of Fine Arts degree in Drawing, Painting, and Printmaking at Georgia State University in 2009. In addition to continuing to draw in a larger-than-life format, she has also studied experimental drawing and cyanotype printmaking at the Santa Reparata International School of Art in Italy.

While completing her studies at Georgia State University, Scott-Felder was awarded with the Directors Award for her work in the 2008 Juried Student Exhibition and nominated for the Joan Mitchell Foundation Grant.

Currently, Scott-Felder is a visiting lecturer of two-dimensional design and life drawing at Georgia State University. Her work is featured in corporate collections in Cambridge, Massachusetts; and recent exhibitions include the Ernest G. Welch School of Art and Design Gallery in Atlanta and Gallery Kayafas in Boston.
