Dev Parade - 「Bacchikoi!!!」 - Bass Cover (Rough)

As the title says, this is more of a rough, kind of progress video of Dev Parade's awesome song, Bacchikoi!!! My bass amp's condition grows worse by the day, so sound's not terribly great. Also, volume is getting harder to control as well, as it takes only less than a millimeter of movement to greatly increase or decrease volume on both my bass and amp, so I don't know what to do.
However, hopefully you will all see through the volume and amp troubles and recognize my playing! The only parts I truly struggle with are the verse riff (since I have to stay up high like the original bassist and then drop low for that F# note [Eb tuning]) and that insane mini bass solo. I pretty much simplified the solo, taking a rough stab at what is probably played. You probably can't hear it too well on the video anyway, which is partly due to the volume control problems and the fact that I still have trouble transitioning from the verse riff to just bust out that crazy triplet burst of bass-slappin' nonsense.
So! I will probably redo this one far off in the distance to come, but enjoy it now! I love J-rock and anime and all the music associated with those things so give me some suggestions on what/how to play. I'm already working on: X Japan's "Scars" (by request), more FLOW, the opening for "Shuffle!" (by request), and many other things, so look forward to it!

if you're 'just getting started', I'd recommend another song to start with. There's some pretty slick S&P riffs in there, and therefor pretty darn hard!
