The Omnipotence Paradox

I think this is one of the very inescapable paradoxes of the ages. On this video, I've seen responses where people dismiss the whole lot of it because it's a "play of words" and whatnot. Actually it's not. Either a god or a creator can do something, or he can't. It's that simple. Because an omnipotent being can do everything, he is therefore rendered not omnipotent. The problem is not with the logic or with the words. The problem is with the very idea of omnipotence, and applying it to a god.

This is a play of words. This is not a real paradox cause you are asking an omnipotent force/being to not be omnipotent basically. It's like saying an apple will no longer be an apple if it becomes an orange. Yes an omnipotent force can choose not to be omnipotent but that does not mean it was not omnipotent to begin with.
Ye, it's a trick.
You are asking an infinitely powerful being to create something that, in one respect, has more than infinite power.
More than infinite???
You can't use an illogical rock to disprove something logically.

@2Jax The problem obviously lies with the word infinite, If it were every possible to absolutely anything, then why not just increase infinity? But the problem still lies, that you couldn't possibly make an object so heavy, and infinitely powerful being couldn't lift. Hence making them not infinitely powerful :D The point of a paradox is to exaggerate the limits, its always a trick
