  • Gene Jelks was a tremendous running back. Opposing defenses had to face Jelks and Bobby Humphrey, a powerful one-two punch. But when Bill Curry came to Bama, he moved Jelks to defensive back. DUMB!!!!!

  • Wasn't Keith Jackson the best ever? I really miss him from college football. While he may have spent his last years calling games in the Pac 10, Jackson loved the SEC..in particular Alabama-Auburn and Alabama-Tennessee.

Ron Franklin of ESPN is a close second.
