@geeklooptv Gotcha, thanks for the advice , also nice review man

@wowitzelijah11 newer phones with better hardware are going to be more expensive, so it really depends on how much money you want to spend. The Optimus V is still a great phone for the price.

Dear former Optimus users, would you get his phone or would you wait for the htc wildfire s to come out on virgin mobile? Thanks!

I just got this phone about a week ago. I love it the only problem i have is the poor battery life. But i installed juicedefender and it seems a tad better. Also ive been with virgin mobile for only about a year and ive changed phones about 3 times. I still only pay the 25$ a month plan.

@guitarist9626 yep, probably the biggest drawback is the battery life, but using apps like juice defender and disabling background data can help with that. And yes, as long as you don't change your plan, you'll continue to enjoy the $25/month plan because you were grandfathered in when VM changed their plan prices. New VM customers will pay the new prices.

Do you know if new VM memebers can eventually drop their per month price to 25$ like Boost mobile does after a certin number of months?, or is the 25$ per month only for older members of VM?
alexlove936 4 months ago
@alexlove936 no, the lowest plan for new VM customers is $35. Those enjoying $25/mo plan were existing VM customers who were grandfathered in when VM made their most recent plan pricing changes.
