Palestinian Doctors Visit UK Hospitals

MAP and IMET 2000 have launched a joint programme to raise standards of care for burns patients across the occupied Palestinian territory. We will update existing burns units, build new facilities, bring in much needed equipment and train a generation of doctors and nurses. As our first step, in January, MAP and IMET 2000 organised a visit of nine surgeons, doctors and nurses from the occupied Palestinian territory to observe UK burns services. This visit will form part of a skills sharing process that will ensure international learning and partnership.
