We decided to see if we could use the iPad as the touchscreen for Hauptwerk. We were particularly interested in the dynamic resizing ability of the iPad.

We used a really clunky way to do it through our network server. You don't want to do that. If you're running a Mac Pro, you can have it act as a server and the iPad becomes an Aux screen. There are other apps you can buy that I can't think of at the moment (I think Air Display is one). It should run on Mac or PC.

How do you get it to run off the iPad? I looked on the website and could not find anything about it

@danhervin does your console have thumb pistons? Check my channel. I have a vid on how I retrofited pistons and used a keyboard encoder as the controller. I have more info offline plus pics if your interested.
