The Mythbusters took on a video very similar to this recently and busted it, the only way they could make it work was to over build the hell out of it b/c when the weight hit the plank it kept breaking. it looks cool but total fake
What would you estimate, roughly, the gee load to be? I would guesstimate it at about 70 to 80 gees and even if his body could hande it, the metal horse fulcrum and that fiberglass lever would never be able to deal with that shock load.
But it did look cool. Maybe this works in Movie land LOL
