@giorgio9700 - Giusto, questa NON è la Cattedrale di Vienna ma la VotivKirche. L'organo Walcker che si sente in questo video è quello inaugurato da Brahms, Bruckner e Rheinberger (scusate se è poco...). Nella cattedrale di Santo Stefano a Vienna ci sono due organi: quello sulla porta ha 5 manuali e 130 registri ed è stato costruito da KAUFFMANN nel 1957; il Rieger a 4 manuali sta a destra dell'altare maggiore ed è stato costruito nel 1991.

I remember going here to hear Elfrieda Kandler here in 1985. Since my friend learnt from Peter Planyavsky we kept that very quiet, and managed to play the organ for a while after, and then have a large icecream !! with Frau Kandler, in Kantner Strasser!!

Like organ of Votivkirche, Organ of Riga Dom is made by german enterprise "E.F. Walcker und Co", for its inauguration Franz Liszt wrote one choral prelude. Riga Dom organ has two consoles (Spieltisch), 124 stops, 4 manuals on the main Spieltisch and 1 manual on the little Spieltisch. Here you can find disposition of this great instrument.

Actually organ of Votivkirche in Wien is not only one of such kind. It is one of two originally preserved organs, made by Walcker. The second one ist organ of Riga Dom. There is installed organ, which one time was considered as the biggest in the world (1883-1884).

Il filmato non riguarda l'organo della cattedrale di Santo Stefano a Vienna.
Se non sai in cattedrale a Vienna c'è un organo sopra alla porta diviso in tre navate con positivo tergale, e un altro in fianco all'altare, per i piu' esperti si tratta di un organo Rieger a quattro manuali meccanico. Saluti.

Such great sound!!!! Sorry, don't recall, but I think IT IS St. Stephen's Cathedral. Why not WiKi it?

Hey NeoComposer, it's not St. Stephen's. It is close to Stephen's but it has dual towers. Somewhere in my tons of hours of Europe footage
I do have a recoding of the St.Stephen's organ.

Hey moontribe, I am trying to find out the name of this cathedral. It is in Vienna but I can not recall the name. It has dual cathedral towers.
