Wow, imagine if someone was sleeping beside the TV and saw a black and red screen!
The first time I saw an EAS message like this was when I was 5. I thought I was going to be abducted. I slept with a toy .38 caliber revolver that night.

when i waz 10or 9 i saw my first eas chiled abduction and when i was 5 it was a ***TORNADO WARNING*** :)

@jacobdallen I was 8 when I saw my first Amber Alert, I had an actual .38 caliber revolver with me. I knew how to use it at that age.

Omg that is so fucking sad. I have only seen the weather alerts not child abduction. I hate these things so much because they scare me so bad and my heart starts pounding :(

This almost gave me nightmares! This kind of EAS doesn't seem very apprppriate fo a child abduction. Maybe for something like a nuclear strike or something.
