Actually, he has a pretty good reason for staging this coup. I'm not sure if you've been to Fiji or if you are Fijian but I am and I can tell you that there is discrimination (whether consciously or unconsciously) directed towards Indo-Fijians.

I never realised it whenever I visited but it's very present in Fiji's society.
