Kawasaki zx6r 2009 springing up from hibernation over the winter. At this point I have 3 month experience though I own the bike for 6 months due to winter.

  • you will pick it up soon enough dontrush too. when spring come ride your bike instead of drivin ur car take the bike everywhere the same when summer hit ok. GO TEAM GREEN!!!!

  • @infinitebanger that's my plan is to ride my bike more often starting spring...even to work

  • you will get better. its like when we first start walking, we improve day by day.

use 2 fingers for the front brake, do not use the rear brake at all (except for unintentional wheelies). position your hands as flat as possible to avoid unnecessary weight shifts to the handlebars.

  • @abuansar thanks bro. I have started to do the things you mentioned. I read about the weight shifts tot he handle bar from the motorcyclist magazine.

  • you need to practice the proper shifting. but ofcourse, you will get there. GO NINJA!

  • @rheaMDC21 I see you got yourself a zx6r.

  • So yeah it's tougher cause a lighter bike you can will to a direction easier than a heavier bike, but if you just give yourself plenty of time to get used to the bike first before even thinkin of goin fast then if you make it several months without incident you'll be ok.

  • yeh, i read forums before buyin a bike and most says to learn on a 250. they even have a hundred reason for you to learn on a 250 and not on a 600. and people who learned on a 600 chimed in sayin you'll get bored with a 250 and buy a 600 anyway. Well I took both sides into consideration....I got a 600 and enrolled myself into a motorcycle safety course and dont ride like a maniac even now.

  • was it tough learning on a 600?
