idiot!
I grew up on S.O.C., and later the Treepeople and BTS. I was a Vegas kid who's mom was from Kimberly, ID....I saw Farm Days with the Grind many moons ago, then got into S.O.C., later the Treepeople and even later BTS...never knew they were all connected and I had witnessed some of their roots that lonely night in Twin Falls when the Descendents didn't show up and I had to check out the local bands. who knew I was witnessing the beginning of one of the greatest song writer's career!!!

and to say they're lost to "obscurity" is clueless. Great art (or in this case, great punk) isn't lost, its treasured. The thing is, most of us from that era didn't care one lick about commercial success, it was all about the scene and music, and these guys are still revered by thousands of us old punks....my guess is that 99mees would never understand what this music was/is about...most people don't!

punk is because people get lost, do you like the ramones, one of them worships bush, a man who almost ruined the world, is this your great punk master, punks like these were egotistical, thought they were better than everyone else, i bet you're into drugs/alcohol, causing trouble, just like them, be an adult, punk is for lost lost souls, find yourself, once you do, you won't like punk

Why was I into "drugs/alcohol"? Bro, I am an adult, but I respect my roots. They formed who I am today.....btw, I'm a CPA, graduated top 10% in my class, worked for a big 4 accounting firm, and currently quite sucessful...not sure why that matters, but not what you expected.

As far as nobody knowing "this guy", I'm referring to Doug Martsch, who sang some treepeople songs, and now in Biult to Spill...hmmm, doesn't Deathcab for Cutie say they were influenced by BTS? LOL! You know very little...

i honestly respect your intelligence, it means you don't get taken by this or this kind of music, if you listen to this what do you hear, yelling and loud annoying guitar, that's what he's relying on, not what he has to say, that's what i'm saying, because he is relying on antics of yelling and loud guitar, he doesn't want you to focus on his words, only the packaged emotion he's trying to sell to you, if this is so important, why has he only influenced the northwest and not everywhere else

greatness comes from recognition, if his lyrics are so great why didn't the world recognize him, because he faded into obscurity like so many other commercial seattle bands trying to sell fake emo to you fake emos, you being from vegas, you actually know less than seatle, no one important in music, except pearl jam in deathcab, ever came from seatle
