@DerbyCityBoy90 Several symbolisms. Tucking a razor in the cheek is jailhouse/street thing. It's like an "emergency weapon". Pull it out, slice/dice, then hide it away. It has other uses as well... but LOL let's not cover those.
What they were pointing out with the razor scene was how Shep leaving out Birdies' life may have led to how he turned out... drugdealer/murder/sociopath. Also, it highlights that he was the one who sliced up Flip (Bernie Mac).
