As seen on The Gadget Show Christmas Special, the Silverlit V-Jet is probably the most innovative model plane ever produced.

Currently attracting unprecedented attention from the model press, Flying Toys fantastic new V-Jet has a unique swing wing facility that allows the whole assembly to fully tilt in flight.

Silverlit have cleverly designed the V-Jet to fly in a conventional manner in 'Plane Mode', then actually transform in the air, by simply operating the right hand control stick, to hover like a helicopter for impressive vertical take off's and landings.

Swing the wing back from 'Helicopter Mode' to its horizontal position whilst flying, using the three channel radio control, to accelerate rapidly and resume a normal flight pattern.

Silverlit's sensational V-Jet will taxi on a smooth surface on its tricycle undercarriage, and subsequently take off vertically or horizontally upon command.

A pair of contra rotating rotors carefully positioned on the leading edge of each wing provide superb stability, with a useful transmitter trim incorporated for precise control.

Supplied completely ready to fly, the lightweight lithium polymer flight battery will operate the model for around five minutes, and can be airborne again in half an hour using the portable charger provided.

Surprisingly manoeuvrable for such a sophisticated subject, whilst made of tough lightweight flexible foam to withstand the occasional heavy landing.

Suitable for flying indoors in a large sports hall in helicopter mode, or outside in calm conditions, featuring three channel proportional radio control.

Available on 27MHz bands A & B, to allow two different Silverlit radio controlled models to be flown simultaneously.

The substantial gift box may be used for safe storage between flying sessions, including an informative flight manual and two replacement main rotors, together with all you need to take off within minutes, except batteries for the transmitter.

Available from Flying Toys stockists now.

  • Mine just goes vertically up when I push the throttle, and then nose-dives hard! And sometimes when I do get it into the air (plane mode) it just stalls for a few moments & crashes. Any idea why?

  • what is the power like on this?

  • @leroy0078 its almost completely foldable (superflexibel) material its almost indesctructible and if u would break or tear its really easy to glue(check for polystyrene compatibility). the controls are very easy , only throttle up/down and steering left/right, and to switch heli/plane mode u push the steering stick down , the gear looks like an H tilted 90 degrees , and landing is simple , u can really land hard and the jet will not break. try tro trim it inside without wind people!

  • @hockeystar35789 its air hogs in the usa but in england it is silver lit

  • That's the air hogs osprey

  • podoba mi sie chcę ten samolot kupić widocznie tamten nim nie umie lądować heh I like this I want to buy a plane that apparently does not know how to land it heh
