GMTV Today - Here is whats happening where you are - 2005

This video is a bit funny. Penny Smith was about to say "heres whats happening where you are" but she interpruppted and looked at fiona phliips coat and said "Yove got a lovley jacket on!" and then she said "heres whats happening where you are" and this time it went to the Central Newsroom with Phillpa Thomson.

"news where you are " was a phrase i coined when i was sat in a blackpool hotel, some eight years ago, when i kept hearing from "my part of the uk". The BBC adopted it, and It is now something that i wish i had trademarked all those years ago! It's nice to hear it every morning, even though i have never received credit for it!

and i also commented on, the images of english banknotes no longer in circulation (newer have ER at the bottom); the fact that the BBC SW included the channel islands in their map,..now got their own time..for weather, that the people of the south west had a point. .i could go on...

There have been umpteen things that i have commented upon, im a bit of a bill turnbull..i say it as i see it.

If that upsets Mr Grade, then perhaps he should retire. Or is itv the bottom of the pit?
