@fdemey 1. TURF 2. It's a rule 3. Such thing as COLLEGE and High school. 4. Easier if you do it while standing still first

@brittznpeicez wouldn't you run to your right to avoid a forehand tackle?

people don't realise how essential that is. international players can do stick length drags over 200 times a minute. i've had plenty of blacksticks coach me over the years

@mkht689 Thx captain obvious. Everyone who plays fieldhockey knows it's a turf. However the length of the artificial grass makes me believeit wasn't designed to play fieldhockey on. Secondly, masks are usually worn to protect the face. Or, in some cases, to attend masked balls. But if you look at international hockey matches, no one is wearing masks except for penalty corners.
I won't comment on the coach. She might have played, she might not. All in all, it's rather irrelevant.

@fdemey the field is called a turf. its what most players play on. the mask is to protect the face from injuries with the ball. and the coach played for 7 years and then 3 years in college.

@Dance0Matic Fair enough but it's such a static exercice that it's not that useful. You'll learn a lot more by dribbling when you're walking around in your house.
