'Peak Secrets: Upper Derwent Valley' is a documentary concerning the development of the Derwent Valley in the early 1900's. Narrated by Julian Richards (of BBC's 'Meet the Ancestors' and 'Blood of the Vikings') it specifically looks at the construction of the Derwent and Howden Dams and the navvie village of Birchinlee, known as Tin Town.

    It is a fascinating insight into the secret history of this remarkable valley, the highlight being where it takes viewers right into the heart of 'Tin Town'. This is a must-buy for anyone who's visited the Upper Derwent Valley.
