Absolutely not. I think TDB are more like light entertainment whilst Jex Thoth's music is full of magic. I think it's a lot ...well deeper, I think that's the right word here. Of course that's just my opinion. Blood Ceremony are somewhere in between btw.

Compared to Jex Thoth (and Blood Ceremony) they seem inferior but they're still quite good.
I really love the NWOBHM vibe of this song.
