i went to ucla and members of my family have had service jobs back east so i can feel this on many levels. to live in a country where people who do important, meaningful work -- and if service workers stopped working, we'd all see how important and meaningful their work is -- anyway, it makes me ashamed for my country. why should people have to ask to be treated fairly? why should people have to beg for a living wage? shame on us for letting this happen every day, everywhere.
