Very harsh comments based on a low quality video recording. Trust me, the guy can play. Go see them live, you'll soon realise the vibe is there - they know how to whip up a storm!

I am absolutely DELIGHTED to find out that Gary is still with a band and producing quality rock music. I'm an old-time Reef fan (was even at the crowd-surfing video shoot for Superhero!), and have since got into other kinds of music, but I'll gladly try to catch a THEMISME gig when I'm in the cornwall area visiting my parents in the summer. ALROIT NOW!

Hes a good guitarist, technically wise, nice feel, excellent sound -- I dont mean to sound harsh -- its just the content, its not up to much (yet). I would like to see them go less "riffy" and approach songwriting in a sense of chords and melody; otherwise they are just going to sound like a million other bands out there.

I went to see them play down in newquey and i think the new guitarist is shit hot! I know Kenwyn was good but it is early days and i recon were gonna see the new guy step up to the mark. Like you guys said, these are warm up shows and cd isn't even completed yet. If Gary and the rest of the band chose him, he must be worth looking twice at and in my humble opinion, from what i saw, he is. Watch this space i recon.

Hmm, I was a massive Reef fan back in the day and whilst this is a new project you can't help wondering why they have roped in a guitarist who sounds a wee bit like Kenwyn (without the riffs!!)
This band will only sound like Reef because of Stringer (obviously) and it seems like they are in need of some songs. Having said that, it's quite rock (Black Sabbath meets Senser) and I'll probably go and see them.
Sorry to be cynical, but I'm not impressed with this. The music sounds like an average pub-band, doing some standard blues-rock. The vocals are shit-hot (as expected), but its not enough to carry this beyond mediocracy

You tube does not do justice to the WHOLE gig.
these are warm up shows to hone the set...The CD is not even completed.
The camera mic was taped over to prevent distorsion and so all the Bass was cut...
I spent some years in the Music business
and they are no pub band... but Live work is where the money is being made now....Only time will tell ...give them a year Nick then report back..fair enough?
