This particular video sports Freddie Wong's "Gun Size Matters" video project, starring Freddie himself and Shenae Grimes, along with running gags featuring Freddie's RIP-OFF of the "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" final ending scene taking place in a department store, starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The way the visuals are set up is not exact in terms of occurrence, but the footage, as well as the visual concepts of both scenes, displays some remarkable similarities. Even the fight choreography between the two distinct film footages is remarkably similar, too. And the fact that both film footages feature a man and a woman "dance-fighting" may give rise to the possibility that Freddie probably got the ideas for his GSM footage, featuring him and Shenae Grimes doing some sort of dance fight choreography while shooting bad guys, directly from Mr. and Mrs. Smith doing dance fight choreography while shooting bad guys, too!

The video itself is NOT intended to discredit Freddie Wong and his marvelous filmmaking in any way. The purpose of this video is to demonstrate some similarities between the two distinct film footages.

  • This is not a rip off. Perhaps you can say that he was inspired by the "Mr and Mrs Smith" scene, which makes his video some kind of parody or even a tribute. You should think twice before throwing accusations like that.

  • My overall statement of GSM being a RIP-OFF of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” was due to the influence of statements from film critics like RedLetterMedia and the Nostalgia Critic, who cited instances of certain films “ripping off” other certain films by taking the same ideas, characters, etc. From my point of view, RIP-OFF is basically another word for BORROWING, that is, in the context of film. I’m just pointing out how GSM borrowed the concept ideas of the “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” final ending scene.

The term RIP-OFF in all caps is a contradiction to this statement. If you meant to only show how similar, make it more clear. This video has 14 dislikes, no likes, you can't use Rip-Off and No Offense in the same statement. Use the word SIMILARITIES, not RIP-OFF or you seem disrespectful.

  • there is a difference between a rip-off and a spoof...

  • Holy shit this was extremely horible. Doesnt Shenae Grimes have better things to do. Shenae is better than this crap. Se should be doing 90210 right now. Not this crappy Asian shit.
