In this medical minute (Health Video), Dr. Del Pizzo of Cornell Urology, communicates the critical importance of the "Living Donor Kidney Transplant Program." Advances in Kidney donation and transplantation are making the medical procedure easier, but we still have a shortage of kidney donors. Reminds us of the importance of good kidney health, too.

  • I am looking for a kidney for my husband. I am unfortunately not compatible. I am in the pairing program at California Pacific Medical Center. They are always looking for donors. Please contact me if you would like more information.

  • i dont know ..people are beig stupid..wat if oe kidney goes off for the donr he is fuked...

  • I have a dear friend who is dying now. He needs a kidney so bad from an O donor. Why dont people consider giving the gift of life. Unfortunately I don't qualify as I have leukemia or I would have gladly given mine to him. He is a nurse who has helped so many people in his short life.. he is in his early 40's and would have to wait 5 years possibly for a donor. He will be lucky to survive 5 weeks. If you are interested in donating please PLEASE contact me.

  • i was first white person to receive a kidney from a living black person they think in country. its been almost 10 years now and i have never had one problem ever.we were on all the t,v. shows and paved the way for others to do the same which is very gradifying.keep up good work.
