A Happy Father's Day Poem : "Fathers"-- by MamaMiaLove for CDmagz

Hi gang,

I submitted this Father's Poem i wrote for CDmagz Carpe Diem magazine..a collaborative video magazine. They are motivated by raising awareness of needy children all over the world. Especially the blind aids orphans of Africa.
Shortly after i made this video...my friend and neighbor in it
Bob, passed away...A man who was a grand example of a great Dad, grandpa and kind neighbor. I knew him 32 years notice him at 4:15 through 4:24.

Happy Fathers Day!

Dear Fathers, Live in the moment Now! And please please be where you are at. And above everything, you have your breathe , your life and your very being! You are still here. You still have your heart beating inside you! And now in this moment; not looking backwards but only forward, keep being that Father God wants you to be. He will record every little loving detail and will reward you for: Every stir of the spagetti sauce , every mowing of the lawn, every chauffeur trip you drove, every math problem you solved, every toy you fixed, every discipline you applied , every prayer you prayed.and every tear you cried. He remembers all the good things you have done dear ones and will reward you AGAIN and your family for it!

Hi everyone...FATHERS--perfect dads, imperfect dads, absent dads...active dads, hard working dads...etc...

They are -our fathers, grandfathers.
Whether they are step-dads ,uncles or family friends that have been "fatherlike" roll models in our lives: I salute them!
We can need them , love them or be angry with them but they are still our blood. For all that they are and can be to us and have been to us...we are grateful for their trying, their presence, even for their imperfection. For we learn through it all if we still love through it all. If we still grow through it all. If we still forgive through it all....so the healing can start.

The timing was incredible-because it turned out to be a memorial for a wonderful neighbor of mine that i knew for 32 years that just passed.He once broke up a bunch of boys that were taunting my son often after school-He got the hose out and chased them with it. He disliked bullies.His name was Bob a great midwesterner, electrician that loved nature and fishing.Kind and soft spoken man.

there are many other precious fathers that i couldn't include."You dear are a father to many too"

Hello..dearest... I am so glad you stopped by. xo to you too.This is a video dear to my heart. my father is kissing my mom at the end- in the the old video. But also that i made this right before a dear neighbor passed away. It has become, only by coincidence, a memorial to his lovely memory. He was kind to me and my children for over 32 years and was a great Dad and grandparent too. What a beautiful example!.His name was Bob (at 2:02)
