How to make a nice icon for your YouTube channel in Photoshop

In this tutorial/guide you will learn how to make a pretty nice looking icon in Adobe Photoshop so you can use that for your own YouTube channel

so whats the point in deleting the layers and then reanaming them if you have the same pic why copy and paste it?

Renaming layers just makes everything clear, that was the whole point I was trying to make xD

Well This could be useful to ps noobs although you are teaching them bad habbits!

never use the polygon lasso tool use the pen tool and pen the points out at a zoom of 400% the select the path and make a selection of it its much more effective and accurate and will look better!

I don't think that's easier at all, that's what I mean with finding your own way :) If you think that's easier you should definitely do it that way

This didn't help me. I "maskeD" it and the background didnt go white. ive watched this video like litterly 10times. idk what im doing wrong..is making mesad:(
