Food Shortage in the USA

This week has begun to experience a once unthinkable phenomenon--food rationing in the USA. Many stores and retailers are limiting purchases of flour, rice, wheat, cooking oil, and other commodities. How did we get into this mess? And it's not limited to the USA--we are also hearing of GLOBAL HUNGER and RIOTS because of lack of food and high food prices, including in countries such as Japan, Haiti, Indonesia, and several African nations. Has the biblical third horse of the Apocalypse--picturing worldwide famine--begun to ride?

ONE question for you who keep insisting on the LAW and I think PAUL has my back in the book of galatians. Did you come to Jesus by the LAW(or by keeping it) or by grace? When Jesus say's he came to fullfill the law he did not mean that WE must obey it to live. The law is ment to show us we are sinners and no one can live it out compleatly. Jesus ment "I am the whole law". It's in Jesus. So he who has faith in Jesus, the law is fullfilled in him. Stick to grace and stop the bondage preaching.

Christ said in Mt 5:17 that he did not come to destroy the Law. If by fulfilling you think it means that it does away with it, then this scripture makes absolutely no sense. Rather fulfill means to magnify the law in order to show us how to KEEP it more perfectly.

Christ kept the law in all points and never sinned (broke the law). We are to follow His example (1 Peter 2:21). The need to do this is reiterated over and over in 1st and 2nd John (1 John 2:3-4; 3:22,24; 5:2-3; 2 John 1:6) James further defines that it is the entire law that we are to be fulfilling or keeping (James 2:8-12).

Finally, if we want to be in the Kingdom of God, we must not merely say, "Lord, Lord...." but we MUST do the will of the Father and keep His Law (Matthew 7:21-23).

my family has been saving seeds and growing our own food for generations...i dont see why everyone in all countries dont do this...they could grow foods indigenous to their own land, and would be better off, wouldnt they? or is it better to depend on someone else?..i go with do it yourself, its safer for you and your family!..
