thought it was Kevlar body armour.. but really not sure, what ever it is, its not always enough sadly. As for there being a war when you join.... no disrespect to you its a sad thing to say when we have lost 12 men and a woman this month the worst month for fatalities since it all started .... we all know we are in Afghan for sometime so you will be sure to get a taste of what its like. Sadly. I wish you well in your training and future army career.
