@willieofroanoke my ignorance? effective for what? theyre barbell curls. what use do biceps have in any fucking sport, or anything in life. none, thats why they rarely get trained. all i do is a couple sets of straight bar curls during the week and my arms are huge. what is an effective strength exercise is a deadlift. or a squat. the olympic lifts. guys like you that are fucking form nazis over barbell curls blow my mind.. "proper form blah blah blah". theyre useless. only good for the beach
-
@bspooner21 your ignorance is showing. WHEN DONE CORRECTLY barbell curls are very effective.
Any exercise becomes "easy" relative to doing it correctly, not talking about how much weight you lift, rather if you know how to use proper form to do it properly.

these curl videos absolutely kill me. an exercise as simple and useless as a barbell curl and you see more form critics and bitching then any other type of lift. i watch these to humor myself. fuck you guys are clowns
you need to work your legs not your arms pendejo. how else are you gonna make it across the fence ese

Not bad form but... You should be lowering the weight slower and do NOT pause and rest the bar against your body after every rep. That defeats the purpose if your goal is to improve. You want to keep your bicep under constant tension. You do that by immediately starting the next rep after you complete the last one and no resting barbell against your body.
