Binding of Isaac items: Scapular

In this series I'll be introducing you to Binding of Isaac's vast itemlist (including the DLC items as well). Videos contain visual effects of the items as well as descriptions. For those who haven't gotten their hands on this EPIC game yet, these guide videos make it easier to jump in it and hunt those right items to get you through.

Wait, so if you play as ??? and get the Scapular, you can't die?

I know for a fact there's a loophole for this.

Oh! So that's what invincible means in this context. I was thinking in a sense that you cannot get damaged at all. So basically it's a similar combination like Habit + Book of Revelations / Lum Heart, it's almost impossible to die. Thanks for finally clearing the air for me BonelessJones :)

It does not mean you cannot take damage but you cannot die since when you go to half a heart cursed skull takes you to a previous room and scapular adds life BUT mamas boy and dark boy are achievments in which you cannot take any damage in the certain floors.

I keep reading that statement, that when those two items are combined you are invincible against all foes except mom. However I have tried this combination with Cain and I still took damage from normal enemies. If it did work I'm pretty sure it's the easiest way to get "Dark boy" and "Mama's boy" achievements..
