Ryan Clements was probably just tired in this review or it was one of his first reviews. He sounds a lot more upbeat in more recent reviews. He is still one of my favorite reviewers at IGN.

Why so much hate for the reviewer's voice? He sounds genuine, and it feels more like a direct monologue to the viewer, you, rather than a general presentation. It feels personal and warm, just like the game that's being reviewed.
