I have a question about Row 7. Apologies if this has been addressed in comments already. I'm following the video and using the written instructions at the same time. Written says to repeat Row 5. Video says to repeat Row 5, except we first need to do one dc in the sl st. Which is correct? Should I follow the video and make a note for myself, or are the written instructions right? Thanks!

Can I do the hat without the elastic?

Hi! Wanted to say that I love your video, I've already made several of these hats! But I was curious as to how you did the little band across the front of yours. Did you just make a little strip and sew it on?
