@gam44es First and foremost, Phish is FAR from overrated! DMB? Really? I went to 1 show...and that will be the LAST time I ever go to a DMB show. When these so called critics were saying that Phish would be the next Grateful Dead, they were talking about crowd/following, and if you honestly think that DMB's fans are even remotely the same as Dead fans, you're sorely mistaken. Phish fans = 95% are chill, kind peeps, DMB fans = 95% drunk, out of control, dolt's.

@briandrum1 You are exactly right... Phish was only the child of the Dead in terms of the type of following, not really the music. Dead = old blues. Phish = early Genesis prog rock. Both are amazing, but not similar really.

@TheHopebus Any deadhead knows that lyrics don't mean $#!+. It's ALL about the jam. Jerry himself recognized this and said just as much. I'm a deadhead til the grave but Phish deserve some respect. They do their thing in the same tradition as the dead, and they do their thing well. Whether you like the Dead more than Phish or not, both talents should be acknowledge for what they are. There should be no room for hate on either side

@briandrum1 phish should stick to nursery rhyms thier music is corny and the lyrics are childish[ex. the wheels are the things that make contact with the road<- no shit], if you want to talk them up do it on a phish video. don't spoil this video with garbage. this is still a great song, definately a good version
