This July, Starz in the U.S. and BBC One in the U.K. will premiere Torchwood: Miracle Day, season four of the sci-fi franchise created by Russell T Davies. A spin-off of Davies' 2005 Doctor Who relaunch, the show stars John Barrowman as Captain Jack Harkness, the leader of an organization that investigates extraterrestrial activity. Joining the cast for the new iteration is feature-film star Bill Pullman, known for hits like Independence Day, as villain Oswald Danes.

Sadly I have to agree - John and the team did a fantastic job trying to keep a POOR story moving forward. I think its such a shame and such a waste of talents. The heart of the story is NOT the same - it got lost in a sea of crap.

@LunarLantern It's changed.Anyone with eyes can see it.Jack is no longer the man in charge.He has been pushed to the back as nothing more the the flamboyantly gay character with no power.

I am no longer watching torchwood now that they have americanized it.Everytime they americanize a show it is ruined.This sucks as bad as if they americanized dr who.
