My Jupiter just stared the same thing, my power goes from 0 to maybe 8 watts....Other than that its been a great little radio for me....I guess I am going to have to send it to Ten Tec to figure out what happened.

do you have a tuner in the jupitor , are your antennas tuned, so that you can jump from one band to the next, sounds like a case of bad finals. have you talked to ten tec, i have always had good luck with them.
