the Union Pacific Big Boy is overrated I think. the C&O Allegheny had more power than the Big Boy. i know that don't sound true but, if you look closely, the Allegheny has a bigger firebox than the UP Big Boy because there's 6 wheels that hold the weight of the firebox

According to a lot of sources the Allegheny had 8000 HP and the Big Boy only at 6290 HP.
