Thanks for the encouragement. These products are definitely on sale. If you are interested, do write a mail to me on my mail i.d. chatterjee.shaibal@gmail.com and I will let you know the details. We do not have any web page at present since it is a very small initiative at its very initial stage.

  • Thanks for your comments but I am sorry, I could not understand your language. Please write in English so that we can make use of your comments / suggestions.

    Regards....

  • I have old clothes that I was going to toss...but as a weaver, this video has inspired me to repurpose them. I already do this with plastic shopping bags. Now I'm looking a my old clothes with a different eye. Thank you so much for sharing this!

  • Thanks Dear.

Encouragement from people like you keeps us going.

We would appreciate if you can help us promote this concept of recycling by helping us sell the recycled products. This way you will be also helping these poor weavers, especially rural women in getting a decent and respectable livelihood.

Their poverty and inability to fetch good prices locally is forcing them to abandon their art which otherwise is something very eco-friendly and unique activity.

  • I love it!! I make Similar with falls of fabric for years but by knitting them to make recycled longline bras! Today, I create my company of clothes stemming from the recycling, and I'm going to look for partners to help me in the creation of textiles. Maybe that there would be possibilities of working with these young ladies.

    Regards.
