Rick's father was a Colonel in the Australian Army and was awarded the Member of the British Empire. I lost my stepfather (the only father I ever knew) 19 November 2005 to colon cancer. Even at 43 I feel like a little boy when I hear this and think about him. RIP Ken...and Colonel Springfield.
