  • i found the full intro song. :3 search youtube for "Music From Behind the Lines:Cortège".

i requested the box set of this series for my birthday, but it's unlikely i'll get it due to price (even the used ones are about $100). too bad, since this is the only WWI documentary i've seen, & the best war documentary i've seen. WWI was a terrible war, and it's made worse because it's largely forgotten by modern society. maybe by this documentary being made, the troops' sacrifice was less in vain.

  • @chocofreak887 Yes! Thank you. If you do get it, take one for the team and upload the soundtrack. There's so many other good songs in this show.

  • I must know who did the music for this series...

  • @Quackerilla I know! Allegedly they released a soundtrack for this series but I haven't really been able to find it save for one auction on ebay where I saw a while back of an unopened copy. But that was in british pounds. So for now I just try to find spots on the dvd that contain the music without narration.

  • @Breenguy i'll try, but there's a few more things in line that i could use right now. ^^; but i'll keep it in mind if i do get it. sharing is caring, after all. xD

  • @Quackerilla for the series, the music was composed and arranged by Orlando Gough. For the introit music, it was Cecil Coles. He was a composer who fought during the Great War, but was killed in the Spring of 1918. His daughter was the one to have found manuscripts of his works in the early 2000s.

  • @Quackerilla I think it was by Orlando Gough.

  • 0:56 For beautiful music

  • When I look at documentaries or pictures of WWI,I think of the songs of "The thing that shouldn't be" and "One" from Metallica.

  • im watching this right now. This exact episode. This series is great, and very informational.
