I spent the first three decades of my life as a practicing Anglican and have learned from being a student of humanity and religion that there is no shutting up a fool determined to "save your immortal soul" short of ignoring him/her until they give up.

Mr so-called "cool dude" will get tired of being behind his pulpit if you don't give him the satisfaction of being the audience he so desparately needs to validate his own faith inside himself.
