I wish they still had climbing in the Xgames. That would be awesome, and I definately be watching that.

well they should have made the climbing more difficult, even though its crazy how fast they do it people just got used to it and there were no difficulties

There are two types of competition rock climbing, technical climbing & speed climbing. A Speed climbing route isn't meant to be difficult it is built to be fast. The rating on a speed route is anywhere from 5.10a - 5.11 No one wants to see people go slow in a speed climbing comp, hence the only thing being measured is the speed - not their ability to climb a difficult route.
The XGames also hosted tech competition climbing, unfortunately the pace of difficulty climbing doesn't hold mass appeal.
