Can you limit what the ps3 can access? E.g. it can only access a labelled file, not all and any media on my pc? I was going to give a one I won to my parents downstairs, so they can watch movies, series I've downloaded but don't think they'd be too impressed with porn.

@13mordeth Hmm true that. I guess it would be a lot more convenient if the files are stores separately rather than the dedicated media folders.

@otaviobaltrusch if u are doing this with it ethernet cable, just re-plug that cabel or try to close and open media server again and again. with cabel its everytime problem

@ComputerMontage Yes, you need to connect them with either a wire or wirelessly (wi-fi).

@dvsjaymusic But the first way only allows you to share a few specific folders. The program in this video lets you open up your entire computer to your ps3.
