I like the extensive explanation of your sister's relationship. It's kind of necessary but seems ridiculous when you actually explain it. P.S.: You have an amazing amount of books.

Oh, yes please! That sounds delicious!

They're only the best thing ever. You make a crust with flour and sugar and butter, and bake it in a cake pan, then you make a custard with eggs, sugar, and lemon juice, pour that in the pan on top of the crust, and bake it again. I'll send you the recipe if you want.

Glad you had a fun day. By the way, what are lemon bars?
now I want a lemon bar! My camera batteries DIED part way through the protest shindig at the capitol and I missed some good stuff. I suppose it was for the better, I already cut out lots of good video to condense it down to less than 10 minutes, there were SO many fun highlights! And the peace marshals successfully prevented us from rioting! :)

The lemon bars are gone. But next time you come over, I can make some more. I make them with about three times more lemon juice than the recipe calls for.

So I found 10 maps about the 1st world war from 1919 in a bookstore for only 15$. Then I went to the protest in Boston, ran into some friends there I havent seen since a funeral in 2006, then met up with my folks and ate lobster. Managed through some form of devine providence not to get caught in the rain, but alas, had no lemon bars...

I love maps! The older the better. I got a book of maps from between 1475 and 1899 (not originals, of course), which was marked down from £50 to $19.99.
I heard a report that there were 4000 people at the Boston protest; do you think that's right? They reported there were 700 at the Minneapolis one, and I think it was low.
They reported over 20,000 in San Diego. That was pretty amazing, I thought.

ooo, what kind of maps? European?
I always feel like they lie with their counting, I suppose its difficult to say when we dont protest in neat regimental divisions. 4000 could be right but then again Im not that great at judging crowds, all I know is that if I were king, I would not want that crowd at my palace gates!

They're mostly European, some American. I especially like the early maps of the Americas. Did you know California used to be an island?
When they figured out that Baja was a peninsula, they thought the Gulf of California was the mouth of a huge river. It's really amazing how they just made shit up.
