The Trip started out at our home in Phoenix, Arizona and went to Silver City, New Mexico for a party for my aunt.
The cars of choice was my dad's 1967 Camaro RS and my 1958 Chevy Biscayne.
The Biscayne's tranny was having some problems so it was decided that we take the Camaro. The car survived both ways, there and back.

Alright Junior and Little Junior! Did you make the obligatory stop at City of Rocks? Bill and I made the trip once coming from the opposite direction (from Georgia)in a 1970 Skylark. Also had the fuzz visit us (Border Patrol--I should have had my hair cut before the trip)--and while the Sea green Skylark made it back, it was an experience it did not forget...
