To a lot of people the confederate flag is a symbol of pride because it symbolizes their homland, i.e. the south. I love the south (I'm from Tennessee), but I have waist-length long hair, 3/4 stretched ears, and tattoos. Would you consider me a redneck if you saw me walking down the street?
