When I heard of his death, I was truly devastated. He was just the 'King of Pop' for me. Actually, I didn't even think of that side of him when I first heard the news. He was Michael to me...the little kid, the shy teen, the headstrong adult who I believe truly strove the help the world - even if people were just destroying him.
I became a fan mainly because of the person he was - and that's who I lost.
