Santa Barbara Cabrillo Blvd Waterfront Beach Park and Recreation. Santa Barbara is located about 90 miles WNW of Los Angeles, along the Pacific coast. This stretch of coast along southern Santa Barbara County is often referred to as the "American Riviera" because its geography and similar climate to that of the French and Italian Rivieras.
The Waterfront comprises roughly commercial and tourist-oriented business structures along Cabrillo Blvd including Stearn's Wharf, the Santa Barbara Harbor and the breakwater, and extending East toward the Bird Refuge and West along Shoreline Drive above the SBCC campus West..
