Actually, four periods is a legitimate way to end a sentence, if the thought is complete....

You are not alone, Adam. You are not alone.

@Allie2Squared Also, interrobangs are most awesome!

I thought I was the only person that freaked out over ellipsises (I have no idea how to pluralize that correctly).

After seeing this video i now really hate when i see people use two or four dots.
Before this i didn't know the dots had a name or how to use them properly.Clearly the education system failed me.

I would LOVE if you talked about doctor who!

How about when people use elipses at the end of every single sentence? It annoys the hell out of me. Though, the absolute worst is when people use two dot "elipses" at the end of everything. It's just screwing up something that was already incorrect to begin with.

I use three dots. But my phone hates me and posts 4... I kill myself slowly every time.
I'm watching this as you sleep at my feet.

I think the two period ellipsis, like many grammatical or punctuation errors, was born of character limits. Character limits are one of the most fascist corporate-imposed phenomena on the internet. Imagine an Email service that not only limited your character usage to 140 characters, but advertised they do that. They'd go out of business before they got their first customer, right? Wrong. They'd become the next Twitter. Now, I have to end in a two-period ellipsis because I'm out of characters..
