What movement you get might depend on where you get it from.Amazon is still showing the Miyota movement.Other venders are said to ship the Seiko made movement.I think they are both good,but the Miyota can be hand wound.

UPDATE: I have heard that the 8926 are now being made with the NH25A movement that is made by SEIKO.This movement winds in both directions but you can not wind it by hand.If you want an 8926 with the Miyota movement the time to buy might be now.
