YOU'VE SEEN THE TRIBUTES NOW HAVE THE EXPERIENCE. Thin Lizzy Experience - Four Yorkshire lads who love the music of Phil Lynott and Thin Lizzy - simple as that!!
This band absolutley rock! Limehouse are good, ive seen em twice but this band just take it to another level. By the second set and a few beers i thought i was watching Thin Lizzy! Hope to see you back in Moses Gate soon! you are amazing!! im bringing my mates next time, they dont know what they missed!!
Well thats your point of view and your entitled to it.
To me a tribute is paying homeage to artists albums and songs and only playing there material, but i just dont like the thought of playing everything note for note and acting just like an existing band. I mean if an individual acted completely like someone else in real life id see it as wierd.
Theres not that kind of spontaneous live feel to it, more like listening to a CD.
Theyre brilliant! But i prefer Limehouse, thats just me.
very strange ?? am i missing something ? or isnt that why they call them tribute bands.. i thought the whole point of a tribute band was to replicate the original as closely as possible.otherwise you might as well go see a pub band playing cover versions.when i go see a tribute band i want to see it as close to the original as possible and from what i can see these lads do a damn good job of it.
saw this band they were awesome i can feel premature deafness coming to my house real soon. will definately be seeing these boys again.

I have to admit i think Limehouse are personally better. I find bands who want to replicate a band EXACTLY, very very strange.
