@54nomore I must agree with your assessment of Tom's performance on this song. Of all the singers I have heard sing this powerfully moving song Tom comes out on top for my money. Englebert does an awesome job as well. But, alas, I give the trophy to Tom on this one. He packs explosive power and energy in his notes that stir the soul.

Aside from his voice that is so incredible, I've always loved how gentle he held the microphone. It seemed as if the stronger he sang, the gentler he held the microphone. What a wonderful, wonderful performer and especially talent. Plus I learned how to dance watching him on his show. And this is the best version of I Believe I've ever heard.
